“Horton Hears A Who!” Craft

Today is Theodor Seuss Geisel’s (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss) birthday. In our family we are all big fans of Dr. Seuss so, I thought it would be fun to create a simple craft in honor of one of our favorites from the author – Horton Hears A Who!.

A small arrangement for my daughter's bedside table to celebrate the life and work of a dearly loved author, Dr. Seuss.

To make this you will need: a pipe cleaner, a craft pom-pom and a glue gun. I printed out my "we are here!" message off of my computer. Just hot glue pom-pom to pipe cleaner, add on message and bend pipe cleaner to take on a "Dr. Seussian" look.

Cute! Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!! One of our favorite ones is “and to think that I saw it on mulberry street”

We also like “oh, say can you say di-no-saur?” though it’s written by bonnie worth and not dr. seuss.

That is adorable and I love Horton hears a Who! I wish I would have seen this earlier…I would have had my son make it to take in for his teacher..yesterday the students brought in Dr. Suess books. Well, he can still make it to bring in to her! Thanks!
