Traditional frames and mats are great for displaying photos, but it’s always more fun to mix things up a bit. I love to tuck interesting photos and postcards into surprising places all around the house. Here I have created a photo cube out of books. Old paperbacks, purchased for $0.10 each at a library sale, are stripped of their covers and tied together to create a base for a photo display…
Using miniature clothespins (picked up for a few dollars a bag at craft stores) I attached my photo to the twine.

This is such a great idea! I’ll have to try it out.
I’m not sure what I love more – the paperback book photo holder or the “seriously?” rock!
love this!!
those yummy mustard pages are gorgeous behind your sweet photo : )
note to self: make a “seriously?” rock… SO many uses for that one!
Thanks Catie!
Yet ANOTHER fantastic idea!
Thanks Kat!
That’s so pretty! I love the way it adds so much texture to the table! Thanks so much for the great project, I’ll be spreading the word about your tutorial!
Thanks Rachel!
