Styling Statuettes For Fun

I love small statues, figurines and busts. I am always on the lookout for 18th century style porcelain figurines at garage sales and thrift stores. As the seasons change, I like to adorn my small treasures with little accessories. My kids like it and so do I – so I thought I’d share some photos of my dressed up statuettes from around my house…
With the colder weather we've been having, this lady needed a scarf. My kids like this one a lot.
A piece of leftover fabric did the trick. My daughter wants me to make her a small cap too.
A small turquoise necklace suited this lovely lady perfectly.
I just wrapped it around her neck twice for the perfect fit.
A knit cap from one of my daughter's American Girl dolls adds a humorous and unexpected touch to this guy's look.

A tartan ribbon tied around the neck of this gentleman is a great look for Christmas.
It's all about having fun – add unique details to your home that will amuse your kids and guests.
La-a-a-ove this idea! So cute! I love the knit cap!
Thanks Bonnie!
I do the same thing! (Especially with plastic dinosaurs). The African lady with teh turquoise necklace is gorgeous!
