At this time of year, the fabric stores are selling a lot of faux fur by the yard for Halloween costumes – it’s pretty great to see. The last time I was in Jo-Ann Fabrics & Crafts, I couldn’t pass up some cool leopard print fur they had on sale for about $9.00 a yard. I didn’t know what I was going to do with it, but I knew I had to have it. Here’s the first project to come out of that impulse buy…

Fur coasters — this fabric doesn't fray, so you can just cut it and leave the edges unhemmed.
