Quick Tip: Terrycloth Napkins For Kids

When feeding the kids, swap out paper napkins for terry washcloths. They cut down on waste, are easy to wash and dry (unlike fabric napkins – they need no ironing), are super durable and they come in a bunch of happy colors…

Terry washcloths make practical and fun kid-friendly napkins.

Add a bright napkin ring and you can dress them up for parties too!

Check stores like TJMaxx and Target for good deals. I buy mine in multi-colored packs for less than $6.00.

Now that is a truly fantastic idea — and something that had never once crossed my mind. The little nubbins on the terrycloth do a far better job of scrubbing off partly dried egg yolk off of little hands. I think I’ll give this one a go!

What a great idea! It would certainly be an easy way to keep little ones clean and neat during meals and then just popped into the laundry for cleaning. Thanks!
