Chopstick Assist For Kids

www.family-chic.com

Whether we take it out or dine in, my kids always prefer to eat their favorite Chinese foods with a pair of chopsticks instead of a fork and knife. They’ve gotten pretty good at using them, but every so often my younger daughter needs a little help. By making a quick change to a pair of chopsticks, I was able to make it a little easier for her to eat her beloved crab rangoon…

Attach a clothespin to a pair of wooden chopsticks to make eating easier for kids. After each use, wash with soapy, warm water.

It only take a few seconds to make this - some quick dabs of hot glue hold everything in place quite well.

Be sure to position clothespin upside down within the chopsticks.

Until they're ready to be used, your new creation can serve as a place card holder when you're setting the table.

Just punch out a shape, add a name to it and clip it on your chopsticks.

Screw the kids. Some of us adults need help in the chopsticks department! This is genius.

This is brilliant! I think my husband needs one too…..though we went to a Japanese restaurant and I was so amazing that he didn’t ask for a fork……and since the portions were small it’s a good thing as the chopsticks slowed him down a bit, so there was some Sushi left for me! all the best!

Awesome! I’ve been using a piece of paper and rubberband method I saw on TV years ago. Doesn’t wash well but this is brillant and washable without falling apart.
