Yesterday I was watching Giada on The Food Network and was thrilled to see something quite unexpected from her – she made a beautiful pudding and served it with a packet of Pop Rocks candy on the side. I had to give this a try – but my version is faster and far less elegant. I love to surprise my kids and this dessert definitely got their attention.

OMG this is genius. I will absolutely be making this for my kids! (and myself)

Lia – I had one myself and I have to say it is pretty cool! Take Care, Camilla
If you want the pop rocks to stay stable for longer, you can coat them in chocolate and let them harden. This protects them from moisture, which is what starts them popping! They work great as a mini chocolate bowl for a pudding. My kids are big fans.
Ali, Thanks for the tip! Take Care, Camilla
I am all over this one! What a fun thing –pop rocks?! Who would have thought? I think I saw some fancy chef use them with a truffle pasta or something on Tv….but jello would be an excellent compliment! Maybe even some sorbet…Hmmm…I have to try this one!
