I love pumpkin pie, especially at this time of year; it is the quintessential fall dessert. By blending two of my favorite foods together, I was able to create this healthy pumpkin pie alternative that is high in vitamin A and calcium and works great as a meal or a dessert…
This is my new favorite breakfast (and on occasion, 4:00 snack too): pumpkin pie yogurt with a granola bar and a piping-hot cup of black tea.
This is so easy to make – just combine equal parts of plain greek yogurt and organic pumpkin pie mix and serve with a granola bar for dipping. I use the pumpkin pie mix because it is already seasoned with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, allspice and evaporated cane juice – it is pumpkin pie in a can.

Where do you buy the pumpkin pie mix? I’m in Evanston too!
Hi Jen! I picked it up at Dominick’s – in the baking supply aisle.
We’re trying this soon! Alice just asked if she could go over to your house right now and try some…
Send the little lady over
Love this combination of flavors in my morning yogurt/oatmeal mix. Roughly the same as your recipe, but with some milk and oatmeal and flax seeds added, shaken up in a mason jar, and left overnight in the fridge for tomorrow’s breakfast.
That sounds fantastic! Do you use steel cut oats for that?
Wow, that sounds fantastic! I have some leftover pumpkin puree, so I might have to spice and sweeten it up and then mix it with my yogurt.
Sounds very good!! I’m going to try it this weekend and possibly get my nephews to try it!
Looks like mustard,but sounds good:)
