Wear an old apron when watering your plants to keep clothes clean. I keep mine on a hook near the back door, so I am ready to give a quick watering no matter what I’m wearing. If you don’t have one, check Target, IKEA and T.J.Maxx for cute and inexpensive options.

That’s a good idea, trouble is that here in the uk the weather is awful and you need a brolly by the back door not a watering can!
If you have an extra pillowcase around, it’s easy to turn it into an apron that would be great for gardening!

What a good idea. I recently found my 30+ year old fisherman’s smock in the loft and remembered just how good it was for gardening in. Fortunately it still fits.
