For this project you will need: firm spools of jute in different sizes (I got mine at Home Depot), tinfoil, bobeches (glass or metal ring that fits around the base of a candle to catch dripping wax) and taper candles.
Wrap tinfoil around the base of the candle so that it fits securely into the center of the spool. Run a bit of the tinfoil up around the rim of the opening too.

THERE YOU GO AGAIN. Such a cool idea. And I just bought a giant box of those candle dripper holder things in the kosher section thinking “this’ll be something”…I was right. This is so cool! I want to gather up all my old yarn and string spools and go to town!
l o v e this!
it is cover-of-magazine worthy!!
and i am very glad to know the name of the candle thingies : )
Thanks Catie! You are too kind – glad you like it. C
