Cheap Thrills – Rag Napkins

I love the look of washed linen napkins – they have a natural texture that appeals to me. However, they can be quite expensive. That’s why I had to take a closer look at a bag of rags I spotted at The Home Depot last week. For about $6.00, I was able to get a bag of 20 rags that work well as napkins and look and feel like linen…
Industrial rags are repurposed as napkins.
I made a rope napkin ring (by hot gluing the ends of a 6-inch piece of rope together) and tucked in a clipping of Virginia Creeper, from our backyard, to create a festive look for each place setting.
My inspiration – washed linen napkin from Terrain; $12.00 each (shopterrain.com).
You can find these at most home improvement stores, I got mine at The Home Depot.
I wash mine in cold water and air dry; no need to iron.
