Our Halloween Mantel

Leftover fabric and ribbon, natural elements and some cheap buys from Target helped to get our mantel looking just spooky enough for the 31st. My kids and their friends are into it, so I think I’m alright!

Loosely woven black fabric from Target (9 x 4 feet for about $4.00) is easy to drape and creates the mood in an instant.

A collection of gourds and small pumpkins are piled on top of each other and accented with plastic spiders.

Black plastic pumpkins purchased for $1.00 at Target sit on top of cast iron urns — mini corn stalks are tucked in behind.

A plastic spider is glued to a string that is tied to the top of our mirror.

Wishing everyone a safe and fun Halloween!

Wow! I love it! We don’t have a mantel, but we’ve decorated the house with bats and moons and garlands. We love Halloween 🙂

Thanks Heather! I never used to care about decorating for Halloween until I had kids – now I thinks it’s the most fun! I decorate just for them 🙂

I love it so much!! Do you remember where you got those urns? I’ve been looking for some like that.

Hi Kristen! I got those urns on sale at a local garden center – they were a real deal! Perhaps you could check around online? They can be pretty pricey – I highly recommend searching out a deal 🙂
      Thanks for stopping by, C
