Just a few quick tips to help you enjoy the beauty of Autumn in your home…
Keep pretty Fall leaves around longer by trimming the stems and placing them in water. I make small leaf bouquets like this one and place them around the home – they can last up to a week.
Hang a plain grapevine wreath on your front door and tuck in a few natural found objects. My daughter and I found this dried top of an ornamental grass on one of our walks and stuck it right into our wreath – no gluing or wiring needed.
I love plaid flannel sheets for Fall, but an entire set can be overpowering. Try adding one flat sheet to a set you already have to warm up the look of your room.
Plaids and checks mix well with many other patterns; you really can't go wrong as long as the colors connect.
Chill apples in the fridge and slice them super thin – kids love this, it's refreshing and a little different.
