Enter For A Chance To Win “Winter Cocktails”

Enter for a chance to win a copy of "Winter Cocktails: Mulled Ciders, Hot Toddies, Punches, Pitchers and Cocktail Party Snacks" (Maria Del Mar Sacasa & Tara Striano, Quirk Books).

Thanks to my friends over at Quirk Books, I have a wonderful giveaway for Family Chic readers today — Winter Cocktails: Mulled Ciders, Hot Toddies, Punches, Pitchers and Cocktail Party Snacks (Maria Del Mar Sacasa & Tara Striano, Quirk Books). With the shorter days and colder temps that are quickly coming our way, warming drinks (both with alcohol and without) are just the thing to add some fun to the long holiday season. I was thrilled to get my hands on this; I immediately tested the Classic Hot Chocolate and Hot Toddy recipes…

The Classic Hot Chocolate recipe was so easy to follow; in less than 10 minutes, I had a thick and creamy hot chocolate before me (probably the best one I've ever had).

I chose to roast my marshmallow – so darn good!

After dinner on Sunday night, I made two hot toddies for me and my husband — he's a huge fan now. Again, they were super easy to make (took less than 10 minutes) and tasted amazing! (Image from Winter Cocktails).

I have one copy to give away to a very lucky reader. To enter, just leave your contact info in the “comments” section of this post or email me at One entry per person. Open to U.S. residents only. Deadline for entry is 11/19/13. Winner drawn at random and contacted via email. Good Luck! XO, Camilla

Mmmm! My friends and I stay in a cabin each December and this would be perfect to find tasty concoctions to share in the mountains.

I would love to win this so I can gift it to our friends, the sweetest hosts we know. That way they can make the drinks and I can drink them.
