Sometimes the words, “ADDITIONAL 40% OFF ON ALL SALE ITEMS!“ are so alluring, they can diminish the less exciting sub-message of, “final sale items cannot be returned”. While I was doing some online shopping over at J.Crew.com last week, I knew those little words were there, but in the back of my mind I told myself not to worry — to go for it. I believed that my new J.Crew MacAlister shearling wedge boots and I would be happy together — there was no need for all that negativity.
When the box arrived at my door – my spirits lifted at the thought of them – I was going to wear them straight away. They were on my feet faster than my first impulsive move to buy them. Well, are you familiar with foot binding? These shoes run very small – I wear a size 9, but these are more like an 8. So, here I am with lovely shoes that I can never wear and feeling quite frustrated. However, I decided to turn this into a positive and offer up these boots as a giveaway for my readers.
