The end of summer vacation has sent us into an abrupt lifestyle shift; it’s sort of like a slap in the face. The hurried life of school and all that goes with it has us running these days. Sleeping in and spending afternoons at the beach have quickly dropped into the distance. Things like socks, real shoes and homework are intruding on my fantasy that summer is still with us.

I thought this would be the perfect time to do a CD giveaway — offer up something mellow to help us all ease into fall. We’ve been listening to John Mayer’s latest album – Born and Raised, a lot these days. It’s relaxed and easy – his guitar work is outstanding.
