I love the look of spools of twine – I decorate with them often. I've even turned them into small vases.

To make these – I dropped a plastic shot glass into the center of a spool of twine, filled it with water and added short cut flowers.

I found my twine at Target in the dollar spot -they were $0.99 each.

Plastic shot glasses are available in the liquor dept of my supermarket (Dominick's) or in any liquor store and are priced at just under $4.00 for a package of 12. They fit perfectly into the center of the spools.
