Bright Ice Pots

Dot your winter table with these glowing pots of “ice”…

I'm into creating centerpieces that make my guests lean in and take a closer look - these votives are meant to look like ice.

I made them with rock salt.

For this you will need: rock salt (I used ice cream salt - available in the supermarket baking aisle), bright white LEDs (make sure they are bright) and glass votives or jars.

Fill bottom 1/3 of votive with salt, turn on LED and drop it in, cover with more salt.

Completely cover the LED with the salt.

Line your table or mantel with a few of these in different sizes.

Love these! Do you think Epsom salt would wok as well? I bet it would. I just happen to have some of that… 🙂

You sure could, Louise! 🙂 Also the rock salt that is used to melt ice on walkways would work too.
