I wrapped my banister with sisal rope, wired on some glass balls and tucked in fresh greenery.
Wrap rope around banister - I chose to fold it in half twice and pull it through a loop at three points. I also secured clusters of glass Christmas ornaments at each of those looped areas.
With this rope garland, I can tuck fresh greenery into the rope and replace it easily once it dries out.

These banister tricks are really awesome.
I tried it in my own house and it looked so gorgeous that you can not imagine.
