Doily Tree Topper

Here’s a quick way to add some granny chic to your tree…

A crocheted doily (picked up at a craft store for $1.00) is made stiff with a few coats of glue and wired to the top of our tree.

Protect your work surface with wax paper and begin coating your doily with white craft glue. I gave it a few coats with a sponge brush. Let doily dry on an oiled baking tray for at least 10 hours.

Using cloth-covered floral wire (available in the floral supply section of craft stores) loop through center of doily and wire to top of tree.

Done.
