Using a natural branch from our backyard and some gold Duck Brand Tape, I was able add a little holiday sparkle to our table in an instant…
These easy gold leaves, made from tape, almost look like metallic leather.
You could use these to decorate a package as well.
To make these start out by selecting a branch from outside. Cut off a 4-inch piece of tape and place a stem from the branch onto the adhesive side of the tape (make sure the stem is placed a bit off center so that it is centered when you fold the tape over).
Fold tape over stem and press to adhere.
Cut out leaf shape.
To add dimension, I folded the leaves in half to create a crease down the center.

Oh my goodness! You have no idea how much I needed this post! I was out trying to find gold leaves in the leftover Christmas floral stuff, but didn’t find anything I liked. This is PERFECT!
