My daughters love grapefruit - it's their favorite breakfast. As I was cleaning the morning dishes - I couldn't toss this leftover skin - the cheerful yellow color and the perfect shape reminded me of brightly colored pottery - which got me thinking...

... so, I scraped, cleaned and reused them as a temporary planter for some grape hyacinths.

To make these - just transplant hyacinth to grapefruit bowl, add potting soil and moss - water lightly. I'll use this on my table for a lunch in the garden and then transplant the flowers to the garden in a few days.
