This is what our garden looks like now. We leave the leaves to form a natural, eco-friendly and nutritive mulch that provides habitat for all sorts of essential creatures.
This is a photo taken from the same location in July. You really don’t need to clear out natural debris from the beds – the plants will push their way up through it. We also have a clover lawn with requires less watering and is impervious to dog urine.
Garden like Mother Nature – it’s easier.
