Loving this idea as well! It definitely has the goth look to it…so perfect for Halloween! Wow! I have to do this…need to check my stash of ribbons to find some lace. Ya know what stinks, I was just at Jo Ann’s the other day, wish I’d seen this post before…I better keep a closer watch on your blog! hee hee! I love how the glow of the candle shines through the lace. Boy, I am so glad I got on your blog this morning! I am finding one great idea after the other and loving it! You’ve made my morning!

Thank you! I love this! I saw it on Pinterest as well. I am going to do this in ivory lace for my wedding. It was the perfect final touch I needed for my vintage wedding. Thank you so much!

THIS is GENIUS!!! Thank you so much for sharing it… What I love about it is you can adapt it to any holiday really by changing the colors of the lace. Too cute! I hope it’s okay, I just couldn’t help but feature this in a Halloween Crafts/Decor Round-up I just finished. You can see it here:

How easy is that? I thought you would have to use fabric or decoupage glue. I have lovely (very plain) battery operated candles with a very realistic flame. I’m going to go out and get holiday colors and have each seasonal changes.
