Plastic Egg Garland
Written by: camilla
Cover: Plastic Easter eggs are strung together to make an easy Easter garland. These are so simple to make, just open the egg, place a thin yarn or cord inside and snap shut.

this is a wonderful idea…compared to heating the needle and putting a hole in the top of the egg, insert string or yarn, knot, snap together and hang….goodbye old way

Oooh, I love this, I can’t wait to show my step-daughter! We always get so excited about dying easter eggs and then the experience is inevitable anti-climactic. I think it’s time to try something new this year.

Great idea! I for some reason keep buying plastic eggs every year and this would be a great project to finally use them!

What was used to paint the eggs? How were the stripes added?

Hi Gloria-
I bought these eggs with the stripes already on them. I picked them up at my grocery store in the holiday section.
