Duct Tape Decorating

Check out how I changed the cover on a bench cushion in our hallway; instead of sewing it, I used duct tape. It took me less than 2 minutes and I can easily switch the fabric whenever I want to…

This is so easy to do -- the duct tape holds the fabric in place.

Before -- this existing cover is great, I just wanted something a bit brighter for Spring.

For this project you will need: enough fabric to cover your cushion, duct tape and scissors. Center cushion on top of fabric.

Pull up one side of fabric and tape to the underside of the cushion.

The process is the same as wrapping a gift. Bring the other side over and tape down. Fold in corners and tape down the ends.

Fold fabric tightly, secure with tape. Use enough tape to create a strong hold.

Done in a flash!

I LOVE this idea, and how clever! I also have an older cushion, and have debated how to change the fabric… this is fast, easy, and noncommittal!
