My kids like it when I put a funky twist on the everyday items we use and I like to keep things interesting – so, this idea was a hit with all of us.

Modern milk and cookies - ginger ale bottles are reused as glassware & butter cookies are stacked onto straws.

I used a funnel to fill my bottles.

I used 10-oz ginger ale bottles. Soak off labels and clean bottles with hot water and dish soap. After each use, I place these in the dishwasher and they clean up well, but you could also hand wash with a bottle brush.

What a wonderful idea! I love the how the straw is the same color as the bottle. The idea of the cookies through the straw is fantastic! so darn cute!

I love using bottles. I bought some Grolsch beer and we use the bottles for water. There’s nothing like drinking ice cold water out of a bottle on a hot summer day. I think the same might be true of milk!
