Luckily, at this time of year, Mother Nature is generous – natural beauty is scattered everywhere. Take a quick walk around the block and it’s impossible not to come home with a bundle of beautiful leaves, a handful of acorns or a few dramatic branches. And it’s all there for the taking. I couldn’t resist adding a few of my favorite finds to a simple candle jar and in an instant, our table was improved by it.
Dress up a candle jar with a tassel made from dried fall leaves.
Collect leaves from outdoors. Press in a book for a few days. This will help to preserve the leaves. Arrange leaves in a bundle, tie together with a leather cord, tie around mouth of large jar.
