Transform plain glass votives and vases into patriotic decor with a quick tattoo…
A package of temporary tattoos can help you make your own themed decor in a flash and can easily be removed when the party is over.
For this project you will need: a package of temporary tattoos (I got mine at Party City, $2.50 for a 24 pack), a glass votive or vase, a towel and a spray bottle.
Rest your votive on the towel, press on tattoo and mist with water. Apply steady pressure for 10-20 seconds.
Gently peel off tattoo backing and let dry.
When the party is over, you can leave them as is and bring them out again next year or remove the tattoo with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball - it comes of in a flash.
So fun to do - the kids can help.
We decorated some small white vases too.
