A few doilies are cut in half and strung together to create a lacy garland…

If you don't own a sewing machine you could also make this with fusible bonding (like Stitch Witchery - a bonding web used with an iron - available at craft and fabric stores).

You can pick up doilies at resale shops and crafts stores for anywhere from $0.25 - $3.00 each.

An easy way to add a creative look to your home or party.

I started out by cutting the doilies in half.
![IMG_0525](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%2066406%20100000'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
I took a canvas drop cloth and ripped it into a 2-inch wide strip.
![IMG_0548](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%2066406%20100000'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
Fold canvas strip in half (widthwise), place doilies inside of fold and pin in place.
![IMG_0550](data:image/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns='http://www.w3.org/2000/svg'%20viewBox='0%200%20150588%20100000'%3E%3C/svg%3E)
Sew in place.
