Rope Chain Garland

This fun rope garland could work for Fall and Winter decorating…

This rope chain took me about 20 minutes to make.

Pieces of rope are linked together to resemble a chain.

For this you will need rope (I used 1/4" x 25'), scissors and a glue gun. Cut rope into 6-inch pieces. Hot glue ends closed to create a circle. Add loops on, one by one, to create a chain.

To get a clean closure on each loop, make ends meet - do not overlap. Dab one end of the rope with hot glue and press both ends together for about 20 seconds.

My kids suggested spray painting these silver or black - which is a great idea. I prefer to keep them natural.
