Water Colored Glass

Some glasses get a few coats of watercolor paint to provide a quick and temporary color change perfect for holding candles…

With a sudsy rinse and a few scrubs with a bottle brush, these glasses will easily be returned to their original state.

These are great for adding some interesting color to your holiday table.

The brushstrokes add interesting texture.

For this project you will need: a few thrift store glasses, watercolor paint and a paintbrush.

Wash the inside of the glass with a few coats of watercolor paint. Let glasses stand to dry for about 10 minutes and drop a candle inside.

When you're tired of this look, you can wash off the paint with soapy water and a bottlebrush.

I suggest using tea lights with these.
