Yarn Garland

I've started working on a yarn garland for my Christmas tree. Yarns of the same color, but three different textures are linked together to create this wintry look.

To make this you will need three or more different yarns. Cut to desired length and tie loops closed with a tight knot, linking together each loop. Be sure to trim extra yarn from each knot to keep the look neat.

I’ve got about 5 feet down – only 20 or more to go. This may seem like a lot to do, but it really is easy and I like to do this kind of work while watching TV. You can get the kids to help too.

That will look really pretty on your tree. I never thought about making garland from yarn, what a great idea…it’s so light and floating…just like snowflakes.
