Handy Halloween Lights

Forget the store-bought plastics this year and check your recycling bin for some spooky Halloween inspiration…

Try your hand at some creative lighting with this quick and easy project.

To make these you will need: paper shopping bags, glass jars and rubber bands. I traced my hand onto the paper bag, cut it out and attached it to a jar with a rubber band. I used a real tea light, but you could also add a glow by dropping an LED tea light into the jar.

I chose to wrinkle the paper a bit.

We’re listening to La Roux today.

Great idea!! I’m always looking for fun activities to do with my
two anklebiters. My daughter just turned 12 and my son is 5…soooo finding anything that they can still do together is always exciting. LOVE your ideas!!

    Thanks!
