At a resale shop last week I picked up a bag of 30 wooden curtain rings for a few dollars. Here’s what I came up with…
April is the month of our wedding anniversary so, I created an arrangement that incorporated our initials.

To make these I started out by cutting a square of burlap that would fit the curtain ring.
Using a foam letter stamp (available at craft stores) and a regular stamp pad, I stamped the burlap.
I lined the back of the ring with glue.
I pressed the ring onto the burlap, making sure my letter was centered.
I trimmed the burlap with scissors.
I strung the letters onto a leather shoelace and tied it around my vase.
Using card stock, instead of burlap, I also made a gift tag for a hostess gift.
These curtain rings can serve as napkin rings and place card holders all at once – so easy.
Just tie a manila price tag (available at Office Depot) onto the eye screw on the ring.

what a great idea! I love repurposed projects

Love this idea so much – just bought a bag of curtain rings off etsy!
Love! I’m the kind of person that would buy wooden curtain rings and then leave them in my closet for months before passing them on, but I’m really enjoying see the way you’ve creatively used them!
Thanks for all of the kind comments ladies! Camilla
