Pudding & Pop Rocks



Yesterday I was watching Giada on The Food Network and was thrilled to see something quite unexpected from her – she made a beautiful pudding and served it with a packet of Pop Rocks candy on the side. I had to give this a try – but my version is faster and far less elegant. I love to surprise my kids and this dessert definitely got their attention…

I just made bowls of Jell-O instant vanilla pudding and sprinkled a packet of Pop Rocks on top. Serve immediately - it makes a wonderful popping sound - my kids were very intrigued.

We discovered one of our favorite pizza places will sell us fresh pizza dough for $3.00 a package (makes one large pie). We can add the toppings we want to make it healthier and the kids can still have fun rolling out the dough…
