Firecracker Popcorn Bags

Family Chic 4th of July craft

Serve up an explosive bag of popcorn this 4th of July or any day…

Family Chic 4th of July craft

It takes less than a minute to create this fun popcorn bag that both kids and adults will love!

For this you will need: one red, one white and one blue paper lunch bag (available in the food storage aisle at Target or online).

Nest bags together.

Fringe the edge with scissors. I used fringe scissors to speed things up - available at craft and specialty paper stores.

Fold over fringed edge and fluff out to create volume; fill with popcorn and serve.

An easy and inexpensive way to add some flair to your party.

I’ve never heard of fringe scissors, but I love these bags! I hope I can make them for the forth.

Hi Raejean! You could create the fringed edge with regular scissors too – but the fringe scissors are faster – they make 5 cuts at one time – I love them! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Take Care, C

Today I went shopping for those fringe scissors. I checked at Michael’s & JoAnn Fabrics. None! Where can I find them?

    Thanks,
    Katherine
