My daughters love grapefruit – it's their favorite breakfast. As I was cleaning the morning dishes – I couldn't toss this leftover skin – the cheerful yellow color and the perfect shape reminded me of brightly colored pottery – which got me thinking…
… so, I scraped, cleaned and reused them as a temporary planter for some grape hyacinths.
To make these – just transplant hyacinth to grapefruit bowl, add potting soil and moss – water lightly. I'll use this on my table for a lunch in the garden and then transplant the flowers to the garden in a few days.

Great idea once again! AJ
