Give your Valentine a puffed heart of gold made from a paper grocery bag…
Cut two hearts of the same size from a paper grocery bag. Crumple up paper hearts into a ball and then smooth straight again; this creates an interesting texture.
Stitch paper hearts together using the surge function on your sewing machine. Leave a 2-inch opening so you can stuff your heart. If you don't own a sewing machine you could hand stitch, glue or even staple the edges closed.
Stuff your heart with cotton batting, shredded paper or leftover fabric pieces (anything to give it dimension).
Thread a large needle with jute and pull it through the top of the heart to create a loop for hanging.

Hearts to you!

Really love the simplicity and texture of this!
Oh, that is a cool texture! It makes me wonder if other shapes could work too. Like a toy sword shape or a toy airplane.
i agree, it’s beautiful
What a great tute and great decor. I think I am going to make multiples and hang in our bedroom. Thanks for the great tute and idea! Looks expensive but almost no cost at all. My favorite kind of decor and craft. I am definetly adding you to my reader! Blessings to you. Joyfulnana.
