Star-Stamped Jeans

A pair of old jeans are given a quick makeover for the 4th…

I used a star-shaped cookie cutter to imprint an old pair of jeans with an easy, patriotic design.

To begin, I cut a few inches off of the bottom of my jeans to create a shorter leg. Since I wanted to roll up the ends, I didn't bother with a hem.

I poured fabric paint onto a paper plate, pressed the cookie cutter into the paint and then stamped it onto the jeans.

Stamp out your design and allow to dry overnight.

To create a more interesting look, I chose to decorate one leg only.

Have a great 4th of July!
